Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luke Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Freitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freitas has chosen Attack - 30 Seconds to Mars as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Woods! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joao Freitas! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods closes the distance but Freitas moves to the side and Freitas counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Woods is trying to get back to full guard. Freitas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Freitas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Freitas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Freitas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Freitas works his foot free and advances to mount. Woods is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freitas is working for a guillotine from mount but Woods frees his head quite easily.
Freitas raining down hammerfists from mount. Woods wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Woods working to try and regain half guard.
Woods wants to hold on but Freitas pushes him away. Freitas unloads with some shots from mount but Woods bucks and avoids them well.
Woods's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Freitas throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Woods holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Freitas tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods wants to control but Freitas is having none of it. Freitas thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Freitas throwing strikes here but Woods is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Freitas looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Freitas fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Freitas trying to control but Woods is having none of it. Woods is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Freitas has taken his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Woods fending off the submission attempt from Freitas. Freitas working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Woods is doing well to defend. Freitas seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Woods is forced to tap and this one is over!
