The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oath.
Ribeiro closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ribeiro throws a shot from downtown. Oath moves away and avoids it.
Ribeiro takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Gabriel Ribeiro has been cut.
Ribeiro misses with a double jab
and Oath counters with a head kick. That will keep Ribeiro thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ribeiro on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oath has closed the distance and engaged Ribeiro in a clinch.
Ribeiro is looking to break free of the clinch but Oath has double underhooks.
Oath scores with a knee to the head.

Oath's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ribeiro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oath connects with a jab.
Ribeiro takes a kick to the side of the head.
Oath is looking to slow Ribeiro down with leg kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oath tries to clinch there but Ribeiro circles away.
Ribeiro takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ribeiro misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ribeiro looks gassed!

Oath takes the fight into the clinch.
Knees to the body from Oath.
Oath lands an elbow inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oath landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Oath creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ribeiro's defenses.
Oath goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ribeiro takes an elbow to the temple.

That has opened up Gabriel Ribeiro's cut even more.
Oath lands a left hand.
Oath putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ribeiro in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Oath with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

The cut above Gabriel Ribeiro's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Oath is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Oath lands an elbow inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oath creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Gabriel Ribeiro's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gabriel Ribeiro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
