Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Emilianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Borgstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emilianenko comes to the ring accompanied by Angelo Badalamenti - The Pink Room . Borgstein has chosen Megadeth - Headcrusher as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borgstein lands with a hook. Emilianenko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Borgstein throws a front kick aimed at Emilianenko's knee but Emilianenko avoids it well.
Borgstein pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Borgstein rushes Emilianenko and presses him up against the ropes.
Emilianenko is struggling to control the position.
Borgstein prevents the takedown attempt.
Borgstein lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Borgstein tries to land a knee to the head but Emilianenko blocks with his arms.

and Emilianenko counters with a right hand to the body.
Freddie Emilianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Borgstein.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Emilianenko closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Borgstein quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Borgstein is not content to let Emilianenko control the position.
Emilianenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Borgstein is just riding it out for now. Emilianenko eventually gives up the hold.
Borgstein is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Emilianenko pulls his head out easily.

Borgstein is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Emilianenko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Emilianenko's back!

Borgstein lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
