Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Poyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cesar Parker!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poyer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Poyer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Poyer stuffs the takedown.

Parker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Poyer.
Poyer feints a jab promting Parker to slip. Poyer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Parker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Poyer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Poyer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Poyer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively.
Poyer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Poyer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Poyer wants it to stay on the feet.
Corey Poyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Parker.
Parker takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Poyer cracks Parker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Parker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Poyer is trying to defend but Parker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Parker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Poyer tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Parker cracks Poyer with a big right hand from the back mount! Poyer immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Parker takes this one by TKO!

Our winner, Cesar Parker, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
