Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Qpf Fighter Three (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Fair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Qpf Fighter Three has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Qpf Fighter Three! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zack Fair! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter Three looks to clinch and Fair moves into the clinch. Fair is trying to trip Fighter Three. He has hold of a leg but Fighter Three is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fair persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Fighter Three not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter Three is working an open guard so Fair takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Fair takes the fight into the clinch. Fighter Three is trying to break the clinch but Fair is controlling him. Fighter Three stalling in the clinch but Fair improves position. Fighter Three managing to block the knees to the body from Fair.

Fair's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fair closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fair performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter Three is trying to get back to full guard. Fair gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Fair looking to score a takedown here. Fighter Three is defending well but Fair drives through and ends up in Fighter Three's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fair gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fair drives through with a takedown into guard. Fair decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fair fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter Three sprawls well initially but Fair persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fair wants to free his trapped foot but Fighter Three is holding on for dear life with his legs. Fighter Three is trying to maintain the position but Fair is very close to passing his half guard. Fighter Three wants to get back to full guard but Fair has passed into side control. Fair controlling from side mount. Fair working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fair taking a breather here. Fighter Three wants to control but Fair postures up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fighter Three is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fair seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fighter Three fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter Three moves out of range as Fair throws a body kick.

Fair looks to land a combination but Fighter Three avoids it well. Fighter Three dives in and grabs Fair's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fair pushes down on Fighter Three's head and hops out. Fair feints and as Fighter Three raises his hands in defense, Fair changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fair accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fair is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fair with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zack Fair dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fighter Three wants to clinch and Fair counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fighter Three won't be happy with that. Fair taking a breather here. Fighter Three manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Fair wants to improve his position but Fighter Three is controlling well.
Fair is looking to control Fighter Three's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fair avoid being mounted? Fair moves into full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fair throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Fighter Three trying to control the position from guard on top but Fair is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fighter Three has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fair is controlling Fighter Three's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter Three has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fair is proving hard to escape from. Fighter Three is fighting to break Fair's control of his arms but Fair is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Qpf Fighter Three has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Fighter Three wants to clinch up but Fair keeps it at a distance. Fighter Three fails to land the takedown. Fighter Three shoots in and drives through. Fair sprawls well. Fighter Three gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fair counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fair. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Qpf Fighter Three. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fair decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fair throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter Three moves out of range easily. Fair looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fair trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fair slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fair passes Fighter Three's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fair seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter Three is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zack Fair has got the better of the ground game so far. Fair keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fighter Three slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fair slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fair missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fair stands and throws Fighter Three's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zack Fair showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Fair shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Well, if Fair is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Fair has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Fighter Three is trying to control but can't.

Fair clinches up with Fighter Three and pushes him back against the cage. Fair has Fighter Three pushed against the cage. Fair blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Fair closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fair content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter Three is looking to regain half guard here but Fair keeps moving and retains side control. Fair wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fighter Three, who protects the arm well. Fair moves into full mount! A nice elbow there by Fair.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter Three tries to lock up and control but Fair gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Fair tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fair avoids the attempt from Fighter Three to control. Fair tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fighter Three is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fair's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fighter Three has given up his back here.
Fair has been the more effective fighter overall so far. You can see the frustration on Fighter Three's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fair looking for the RNC. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fair controlling from the back.
And that's the end of the fight! Zack Fair comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fair has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
