Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Viktor Bellic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luca Turilli!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turilli instigates a clinch.
Bellic has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bellic working hard to break the clinch.
Turilli is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bellic gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Turilli keeps control of Bellic as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bellic is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Turilli avoiding damage as Bellic throws knees to the body.
Bellic looking to throw knees to the head but Turilli is blocking nicely.
Bellic has had enough of the clinch but Turilli keeps him there for the moment.
Bellic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bellic manages to break the clinch.
Bellic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Turilli throws out a powerful jab.
Bellic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bellic fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turilli checks the leg kick.
Turilli goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Viktor Bellic has been cut.
Bellic swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Turilli counters with a left and a right that stings Bellic.
Turilli fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bellic to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bellic looks to clinch but Turilli throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bellic taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Luca Turilli!
