Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kieran Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koch attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Koch with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mac counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mac is looking to clinch.
Mac misses with a takedown attempt
and Koch counters with a takedown into side control.
Mac can't do much from the bottom here.
Koch scores with punches from side control.
Mac tries to escape but Koch is in control.
Koch cracks Mac with a big right hand but Mac just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Koch is working Mac over with some ground and pound from side control.

Mac wants to control but Koch postures up.

Mac stops Koch from passing to mount.

Koch wants to control for a moment but Mac uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Koch thows a huge punch but Mac dodges it nicely.
Koch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mac's head.
Mac is trying to maintain the position but Koch is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Koch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mac looking for submissions off his back.
Koch lands strikes from half guard.

Mac is breathing heavily.
Koch is looking to stall here but Mac recovers full guard.
Koch looking to sit in guard and control but Mac gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mac is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Mac seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Koch for as long as he can get away with.
Mac gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mac feints and then cracks Koch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Koch down.
Mac is trying hard to land a takedown here. Koch sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mac stands and steps away. Koch gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Koch paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mac closes this distance looking for a takedown but Koch circles away.
Koch darts in and clinches Mac up against the cage.
Koch swings wildly with an uppercut but Mac uses good head movement to avoid it.
Koch jumps guard but Mac stands there with Koch around his waist. Koch gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Koch is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mac pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Koch prevents the takedown attempt.
Mac scores with a shoulder strike.
Mac drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Koch gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kieran Mac. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Koch is working for takedown but Mac is calmly controlling the position for now.
Koch trying to control the position but instead, Mac has worked for underhooks and has pushed Koch into the cage.
Koch is trying to pull guard but Mac turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Mac changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Koch fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mac enables Koch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mac manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mac lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mac throws a nice outside leg kick.
Koch drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mac looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mac scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mac was covering up waiting for the punch and Koch finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Koch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Koch looking to improve position, pressing down on Mac's thigh with his hand. Mac seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Koch paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Koch's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Mac picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
