Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vin Sear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vin Sear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Mason! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sear as he avoids it easily. Mason looks to score with a jab to the body but Sear is just out of range. Marshall Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sear throws out a powerful jab. Mason throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mason gets a takedown into half guard. Sear is looking for a sweep. Mason is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sear is defending against the submission attempts here by Mason.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sear won't allow Mason to pass to mount. Sear blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mason. Mason is trying for a kimura here. Sear looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mason wins by kimura!
