Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yevgeni Raduchenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Markus Mac! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac moves to clinch but Raduchenko breaks away and Raduchenko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Raduchenko. Raduchenko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. The referee calls for Raduchenko to work.
Mac with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mac manages to pull guard.
Raduchenko looking to sit in guard and control but Mac gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Raduchenko preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mac with a flurry of punches that miss. Raduchenko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mac works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mac not landing any meaningful shots this time. Mac working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mac thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Raduchenko's head. Raduchenko moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Mac trying to control the position from guard on top but Raduchenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Raduchenko has a closed guard, preventing Mac from standing up. Raduchenko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Raduchenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mac doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Raduchenko is tightening it up a little... Mac has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Mac reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Mac taps out! Nice BJJ there by Raduchenko!

Yevgeni Raduchenko was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
