Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elyas Pical (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pical drives through and clinches with Dunn against the cage.
Pical pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pical is looking to clinch but Dunn is avoiding it.
Dunn misses with a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Pical.
Dunn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pical lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pical.
Pical scores with a head kick.
Pical forces Dunn back against the cage and clinches.
Pical blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dunn tries to circle away but Pical has him pinned against the cage.
Pical escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pical fails with an attempt to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pical paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pical misses with a few strikes there.
Dunn throws a front kick aimed at Pical's knee but Pical avoids it well.
Pical has closed the distance and engaged Dunn in a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dunn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pical controls from within his opponent's guard.
Pical trying to control the position from guard on top but Dunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dunn uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pical has Dunn up against the cage in a clinch.
Pical keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dunn's efforts to push away.
Dunn pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pical is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dunn is trying to control the position but Pical postures up.
Dunn trying to strike off his back.
Pical controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Dunn trying to keep a closed guard but Pical is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dunn shoots in for a double leg but Pical sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dunn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pical is fending him off so far but Dunn persists. Nope, Pical circles away and we're back to standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pical lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dunn looks gassed!
Left hook, right uppercut from Pical.
Pical scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Pical pushes Dunn away with a front kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pical fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pical moves in looking to clinch but Dunn pushes him off.
Pical has managed to clinch.
Pical connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dunn's face.
Pical escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pical scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Elyas Pical seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pical clinches with his opponent.
Pical breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pical comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pical jabs Dunn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dunn tries a head kick but it misses.
Pical closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dunn is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dunn gets tackled into the cage by Pical. Pical maintains the clinch.
Dunn is still on wobbly legs! Can Pical finish him?
Pical's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pical lands with a right and another and another! Dunn is in big trouble! Pical lands again and this time it's lights out for Dunn! A quality knockout there for Pical.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Elyas Pical!
