Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson comes to the ring accompanied by Clubbed to Death. Kang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kung Fu Fighting. Kenji Kang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Stevenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenji Kang! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang ducks under a wild hook from Stevenson. Kang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kang slips under a jab. Kenji Kang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kang pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stevenson circles away quickly and effectively. Kang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kang is looking to stall here but Stevenson recovers full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stevenson is on top in guard.

Stevenson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Stevenson stands up over Kang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stevenson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stevenson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kang's head. Kang wants to get back to his feet but Stevenson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Stevenson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kang works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stevenson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kang's head. Stevenson throwing strikes but missing. Kang wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Stevenson is now in half guard. Stevenson passes the guard and advances to mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kang can do anything to dispel that myth. Stevenson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Kang is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevenson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kang is still in real trouble! Can Stevenson finish him? Stevenson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Kang covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
