Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hernan Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bublasaur Venusaur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortes's entrance music is Hard to see. A fine choice. Venusaur has chosen Bulbasaur bongo bebop as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venusaur jabs at Cortes's body.
An inside leg kick lands from Venusaur.

Cortes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Venusaur as he avoids it easily.
Venusaur swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Venusaur stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Venusaur wants it to stay on the feet.
Cortes shoots in looking for a takedown. Venusaur tries to sprawl out of it but Cortes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Venusaur manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
