PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Paper Planes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Evans as Bradley shoots in.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Evans.

Evans drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bradley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bradley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Evans pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bradley is keeping the position for now.
Evans could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Evans stopping the sweep attempt from Bradley.
Evans postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bradley is wriggling around but Evans manages to pass to half guard.
Bradley tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans lands a couple of digs.

Bradley throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Evans escapes and throws Bradley's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Bradley sneaks out the side door and pushes Evans away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Evans fails with a takedown attempt.
Bradley doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Evans counters with a shoot takedown. Bradley fights it but they end up in guard.
Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bradley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Evans knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bradley on the ground.

Bradley wriggles free and stands up.
Evans tries to clinch there but Bradley circles away.

Evans closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Evans lands in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bradley is looking for a triangle but Evans pushes his legs off easily.
Bradley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bradley pushes a forearm under Evans's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Evans is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
