Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strife has chosen One Winged Angel by The Black Mages as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cloud Strife has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dick quickly recovers to half guard.
Dick pushes Strife off looking to stand but Strife dives back in and keeps control.
Strife is working for a kimura but Dick is defending it quite comfortably.
Strife thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Strife gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Strife takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A cross from Strife lands.
Strife swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Strife just misses with a punch to the body.
Dick gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dick pulls guard effortlessly.
Strife wants to control from the top but Dick keeps moving.
Strife throwing strikes but missing.
Strife drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Strife jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dick trying to keep a closed guard but Strife is proving a slippery customer.
Strife gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dick scores with the left hand. Strife knows he should have avoided that one.
Strife misses with a two punch combination.
A jab from Strife finds it's way through Dick's defenses.

Horrible takedown by Strife or perhaps it was just good defense by Dick which made him look bad.
Strife uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dick.
Cloud Strife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Strife lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dick misses with a lunging right hand
letting Strife counter with a right hand.
Strife throws a hook but Dick blocks it.
Dick falls off balance throwing a combination
and Strife counters with a nice uppercut.
Strife tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Strife tests Dick's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Strife misses with a series of wild punches.
Dick takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Strife cracks Dick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Strife misses with a double jab.
Strife throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Strife shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dick eats them both and turns towards Strife to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Strife misses with a takedown attempt - Dick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Strife steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dick.
Strife tries to clinch up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Strife pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cloud Strife dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dick with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Strife to score with a decent uppercut.
Dick clinches up against the cage.
Strife has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dick is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Strife changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dick fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dick darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Strife tries to kick Dick off but Dick keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Strife throws a hook but Dick avoids it easily.
Strife throws a right hand that Dick ducks under and follows up with a left that Dick also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Strife. Dick does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Strife connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Strife fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dick sprawls well initially but Strife persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Strife is looking for a kimura here.
Strife wants to take a breather but Dick is having none of it.

Dick tries to kick Strife off but Strife keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Dick kicks Strife off and gets back to his feet.

Strife shoots in looking for a takedown but Dick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Strife's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jordan Dick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cloud Strife.

Strife might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Nice takedown defense from Strife. No joy for Dick on that attempt.

Strife has control of Dick's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dick regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dick really wants to buck Strife off and get back to his feet.
BOOM! Strife connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Strife lands a big shot there that rocks Dick but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Strife stands up from mount. Strange move.
Dick uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Strife.
Dick uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strife.

Strife works the jab nicely.
Strife fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dick avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cloud Strife showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dick's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Strife counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dick wants to stand but Strife is controlling the position.
Dick is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Dick is trying to drag Strife to the mat but Strife just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Strife goes for a takedown attempt but Dick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Strife, as that shot connected.
Dick throws a hook but Strife blocks it.
Dick shoots for a double leg takedown but Strife sprawls well. He's pushed Dick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dick gets caught napping as Strife dives in and scores a takedown. Dick manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strife controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Strife drops back looking for a leg! Dick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dick manages to kick Strife off! Strife jumps back into Dick's guard.
Strife trying to control the position from guard on top but Dick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Strife decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dick throws a jab but it's blocked by Strife.
The crowd cheers as Strife lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dick doesn't seem phased though.
