The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pimentel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jacy's half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pimentel lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Julio Jacy wasn't active enough on the ground.

Jacy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pimentel sprawls well. Pimentel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jacy gets slowly back to his feet.

Jacy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pimentel's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jacy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pimentel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jacy drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jacy seems to have locked his on tight now - Pimentel screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jacy, as he picks up the win!
