11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor Omega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russian Experiment III! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omega has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Experiment III. A big right from Omega misses. Omega connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Experiment III shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Omega's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Experiment III throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Omega works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Experiment III is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Omega is looking to stand up but Experiment III isn't so interested in that idea. Experiment III pushing down on Omega's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Experiment III prevents Omega from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Omega is working hard here to advance position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Experiment III is looking for a kimura but Omega is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Experiment III to get the leverage. Experiment III wants to pass to mount but Omega is defending the position. Omega is concentrating on defense, preventing Experiment III from advancing position. Experiment III is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Omega has managed to free his arm - good work. Experiment III frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Experiment III landing shots from mount. Experiment III goes for an armbar but Omega turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Omega. Omega wanted to stand there but Experiment III had control of the position. Omega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Omega has his hands clasped together but Experiment III extends an breaks Omega's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Experiment III.
