Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dalla Lauderdale!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lauderdale counters with a three punch combo that has Bob backing up. Bob nods at Lauderdale to acknowledge the strikes.
Lauderdale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A nice combination there by Lauderdale.


It looks like Billy Bob has been cut.
Bob fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lauderdale shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bob eats them both and turns towards Lauderdale to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lauderdale throws a shot to the body.
Bob shoots in looking for a takedown. Lauderdale tries to sprawl out of it but Bob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lauderdale manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lauderdale throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bob.

Bob fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lauderdale, pushing him back against the cage.
Bob looking to throw knees to the head but Lauderdale is blocking nicely.
Bob tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lauderdale is pushing Bob up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Lauderdale looking to slow down the pace here.
Bob throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Lauderdale throws a head punch that misses.

Lauderdale breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bob tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lauderdale sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bob somewhat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lauderdale throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bob.
Lauderdale lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lauderdale.
Lauderdale misses with a two punch combination.
Lauderdale lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lauderdale dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lauderdale throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bob looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lauderdale is fending him off so far but Bob persists. Nope, Lauderdale circles away and we're back to standing.
Lauderdale swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A left and a right from Lauderdale both land. Nice combination.
Lauderdale lands a right hook to the body.
Lauderdale works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That kick from Lauderdale tenderised Bob's leg. Bob is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lauderdale fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lauderdale swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lauderdale cracks Bob with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bob. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Bob throws a lazy right hand but Lauderdale sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lauderdale connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lauderdale lands with a good body shot.
Lauderdale cracks Bob with an open hand slap.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice sprawl there from Lauderdale as Bob shoots in.
Bob has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lauderdale circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lauderdale counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bob's knee momentarily.
Lauderdale throws a right hand that Bob ducks under and follows up with a left that Bob also avoids with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bob takes the fight into the clinch.
Bob tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dalla Lauderdale dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Billy Bob's cut.
That's time! Bob's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bob has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bob there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lauderdale displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lauderdale shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bob eats them both and turns towards Lauderdale to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bob takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lauderdale is working the combinations to good effect here.
Donk. Lauderdale catches Bob right on the button with a cross.
Lauderdale lands with an overhand left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bob shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lauderdale sprawls well. Lauderdale wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bob gets slowly back to his feet.
Dalla Lauderdale seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lauderdale stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lauderdale throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lauderdale lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Lauderdale drops Bob with a beautiful combination! Bob stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lauderdale is looking for the KO!


Bob is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lauderdale throws a pinpoint strike between Bob's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Bob crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Lauderdale scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dalla Lauderdale!
Dalla Lauderdale was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
