Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Vargass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Vargass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyson Waters! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Waters tries to control but Vargass wriggling away. Vargass is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Waters is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Vargass is surviving well by controlling Waters's body position as best he can. Vargass is trying desperately to improve position. Waters tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Vargass is in a horrible position here. Waters smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Waters trying to control but Vargass is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Waters looking to secure an arm triangle but Vargass defends it well. Waters sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Waters in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Waters sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Vargass sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Waters is controlling the pace.
Waters trying to mount his opponent but Vargass defends it. Vargass pushes Waters off looking to stand but Waters dives back in and keeps control.
Waters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vargass is just riding it out for now. Waters eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waters is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Vargass wants to control but Waters is keeping busy.
Vargass on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Waters working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Vargass wants to get back to his feet. Vargass looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Vargass is breathing heavily. Waters wants to work for an arm triangle but Vargass is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Waters working over Vargass with some ground and pound. Vargass looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Vargass has hold of Waters's hands but Waters slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Waters content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Waters slips a nice elbow through Vargass's hands, connecting with Vargass's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Waters dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vargass shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Waters as he jumps to the side. Waters moves into the clinch successfully.
Waters avoiding damage.
Vargass on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Waters manages to break the clinch.
Vargass blocks the body kick.
Waters pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vargass with a poor takedown and Waters counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Waters content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Vargass is rocked! Waters chips away with some ground and pound. Oh Vargass is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Waters loads up on a big left hand. Vargass felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Waters looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Vargass can't hide his disappointment, as Waters celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Waters!
