Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Somchai Kangjai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic has chosen Wild Boys as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kangjai fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Filipovic sprawls well initially but Kangjai persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kangjai is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Filipovic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kangjai is working away from the top position though. Kangjai is looking to advance position but Filipovic won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Filipovic is refusing to be controlled, as Kangjai sits in half guard.
