Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edwin Valero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edwin Valero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Troy Miller! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller clinches. Valero lands a shot to the body. Miller blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Miller goes for a takedown attempt but Valero pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Valero falls off balance throwing a combination
and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard. Miller controls from within his opponent's guard. Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miller is looking to stand up but Valero won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valero is working an open guard so Miller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Valero throws a combination. Miller tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Edwin Valero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Valero tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Miller has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Miller drops his hands momentarily and Valero takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Valero is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Miller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Valero tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miller is in Valero's guard. Miller controls the pace of the fight for a moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Troy Miller wasn't active enough on the ground. Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! It looks like Miller is going to stand back up.
Valero keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Miller stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Valero closes the distance and lands a one-two. Miller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Miller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Valero taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller avoids the attempt from Valero to control. Miller working for a submission but Valero is keeping him at bay. Miller content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Miller dominated that round. That's time! Valero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Miller drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller swings around for an armbar but Valero sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Miller's guard. Valero tries to free his leg and advance position but Miller is retaining full guard. Miller pulls Valero in to control the position. Valero looking to sit in guard and control but Miller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Edwin Valero just wasn't active enough. Valero misses with a series of wild punches.
Miller takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Valero's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Valero duly obliges. Valero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Valero feints a jab promting Miller to slip. Valero then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Miller slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Miller looking to score a takedown here. Valero is defending well but Miller drives through and ends up in Valero's guard. Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valero being controlled here, momentarily. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valero swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Troy Miller has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Miller looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Valero slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Valero throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Valero's guard now. Miller is stalling in the full guard. Valero is working an open guard so Miller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valero doesn't manage to clinch there - Miller circles away.

Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Miller controlling the position from side mount. Miller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Valero, who protects the arm well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller staying calm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troy Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Valero misses with a double jab.
Miller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Valero can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miller controls the pace. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Miller gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Edwin Valero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller keeps the fight on the outside. Miller takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Valero stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valero lands a jab. Edwin Valero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Miller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Miller scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Miller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Valero is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller decides to stand up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Valero cracks Miller with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Miller gets the takedown into side control. Miller in side control, just content to control the action for now. Miller has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller content just to control the position here. Valero wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller controlling the pace for now. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Miller landing punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Troy Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Miller winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
