Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Jackson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Balboa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Balboa misses the shot to the body. Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jackson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Jackson clinches. Balboa is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now. Balboa misses with a hook from the clinch. Balboa stops a takedown attempt from Jackson.
Balboa jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Balboa around his waist. Balboa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jackson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Balboa drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Balboa off! Balboa jumps back into Jackson's guard. Balboa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balboa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Balboa tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Balboa finds it's way through Jackson's defenses. Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Balboa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Balboa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson works over Balboa's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut. Balboa is breathing heavily. Balboa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jackson misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Balboas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Balboa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Balboa.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Left hook, right uppercut from Jackson. Jackson lands a jab-cross combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson avoids the body shot from Balboa.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Balboa swats him away and circles back towards the center. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jackson is looking to clinch but Balboa is avoiding it.
Jackson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Balboa won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet. Balboa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Balboa is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Balboa postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to stand but Balboa is controlling the position. Balboa advances to half guard. Balboa moves nicely into side control. Jackson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Balboa lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Balboa trying to control the position but Jackson is working away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Balboa throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Jackson is pushing Balboa's head away, looking to escape. Balboa manages to hold on to the position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is letting Balboa control him for a moment. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. Balboa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Balboa misses with the ground and pound. Balboa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jackson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson regains half guard there - taking advantage of Balboa's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Balboa slows the pace down in half guard. Balboa sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jackson defending well though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Balboa thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.

Jackson gets caught napping as Balboa dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard. Balboa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jackson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jackson wriggles free and stands up. Rocky Balboa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Balboa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Jackson throws an overhand right that lands on Balboa's shoulder, as Balboa tries to avoid the shot. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Balboa misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Balboa. Jackson lands a right hand. Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Balboa is trying to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling him. Jackson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Balboa is defending well. Balboa fails to pull guard.

Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Jackson. Jackson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jackson scores with a shoulder strike. Balboa is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now. Jackson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jackson is looking to stand up but Balboa isn't so interested in that idea. Balboa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Balboa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Balboa misses with a body shot.

Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Balboa. Balboa gets slowly back to his feet. Balboa gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch. Jackson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Balboa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.

Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Balboa walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Balboa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balboa circles away quickly and effectively.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
