And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fizzy blocks a jab.
Ra looks to throw the jab but Fizzy is out of range.

Fizzy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ra's half guard.
Ra works his way to full guard. Good work.
Fizzy looking to sit in guard and control but Ra gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ra is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Ra throws a big elbow that misses.
Ra cracks Fizzy with a solid left hand.
Ra working some strikes from top position.
Fizzy wants to get back to his feet but Ra is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ra throwing strikes but missing.
Ra throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fizzy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Ra works over Fizzy with some ground and pound from guard.
Ra cracks Fizzy with a solid left hand.
Ra is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Fizzy working for a triangle but Ra defends it easily.
Ra throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ra's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ra passes into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fizzy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fizzy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Ra passes to full mount!
Fizzy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ra cracks Fizzy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ra quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Ra but it's paid off an Fizzy is forced to tap! Nice work by Ra.
