Cena tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fitzroy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A good leg kick by Fitzroy.
Fitzroy sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Cena to the ground! Fitzroy dives into full mount looking to finish!
Cena is rocked!
It looks like John Cena has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cena's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
