Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Wasowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasowski's entrance music is Nickelback - When we stand together. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Redman does no damage.
Redman tries to land a front kick but Wasowski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Wasowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Redman avoids it really well and circles away.

Redman instigates a clinch.
Wasowski blocks a punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wasowski throws an elbow but misses.
Wasowski can't find room to land a body shot as Redman controls the action.
Wasowski keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Redman's efforts to push away.
Wasowski blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Wasowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wasowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Redman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wasowski, who protects the arm well.

Wasowski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Redman sprawls well. Redman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wasowski gets slowly back to his feet.

Justin Redman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Redman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
