Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke The ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke The ripper! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming The ripper to the mat! The ripper manages to get full guard. James tries to free his leg and advance position but The ripper is retaining full guard. James preventing the sweep. James has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. James wants to control from the top but The ripper keeps moving. James throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The ripper works some decent striking defense from the bottom. James tries to free his leg and advance position but The ripper is retaining full guard. James trying to control but The ripper is working from the bottom. James lands a couple of elbows. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. The ripper scores with a takedown into James's guard. The ripper wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. The ripper preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. James is working hard here to advance position. James throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ripper trying to control but James is working from the bottom. James is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. James keeping moving, preventing The ripper from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The ripper gets the takedown into side control. James is trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ripper trying to control the position but James is working away. James can't do much from the bottom here. James tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The ripper wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. James tries to strike but it doesn't land. James tries to bench press The ripper off him but The ripper keeps the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James can't do much from the bottom here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. James stuffs the takedown attempt from The ripper. The ripper gets slowly back to his feet. Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The ripper looks gassed! James with a poor takedown and The ripper counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. The ripper tries to close the distance and clinch up but James swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ripper tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but James swivels and escapes. The ripper fails with a takedown attempt. Jesse James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke The ripper. The ripper fails with a takedown attempt from distance. James closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - James lands in his opponent's guard. The ripper tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ripper is looking to stand up but James isn't so interested in that idea. The ripper is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The ripper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ripper is pushing down on James's leg trying to pass to half guard. James is fighting to maintain full guard but The ripper has managed to sneak the leg through. The ripper trying to control the action but James is working from the bottom. James is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ripper lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. James regains full guard. Nicely done. James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jesse James will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for The ripper on that attempt. The ripper with a lazy takedown attempt and James counters with a nice double leg into side control. The ripper won't be happy with that. The ripper prevents James from moving into mount. James lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear The ripper down.
The ripper regains half guard. James stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. James has a takedown stuffed. Luke The ripper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The ripper lands with a straight right. James didn't see that one coming. James with a lazy takedown attempt and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. James moves into the clinch successfully.
James manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The ripper is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! James looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. James striking off his back but it's not causing The ripper any problems. James looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but The ripper puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The ripper throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. James tries to get to full guard but The ripper has control of the leg. James is looking to control The ripper's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can James avoid being mounted? James missing with punches from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. James lunges at The ripper with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by The ripper's hand.
The ripper is rocked! James shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! The ripper is out cold and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Jesse James!
