Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogdan Wasilcov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka comes to the cage accompanied by Island Music. Bogdan Wasilcov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Haka Maka's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haka Maka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bogdan Wasilcov! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wasilcov fails to land the takedown. Wasilcov gets caught flat footed, as Maka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Maka trying to control but Wasilcov is working from the bottom. Maka engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wasilcov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wasilcov looks gassed! Maka cracks Wasilcov with a solid left hand. Maka stands up over Wasilcov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Maka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Maka stands up and waves to Wasilcov to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wasilcov gets tackled into the cage by Maka. Maka maintains the clinch. Maka tightens his grip and picks Wasilcov up, before dumping him to the ground. Wasilcov manages to land in guard. Maka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Maka's corner is telling him to maintain position. Maka distracts Wasilcov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maka working some strikes from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maka sitting in guard here, content to control. This has been an exciting period of action! Maka decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wasilcov, up you get! Maka shoots in for a takedown but Wasilcov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Maka takes the fight into the clinch. Maka lands a body punch. Maka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maka gets a takedown into half guard. Wasilcov is defending against the submission attempts here by Maka.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maka lands strikes from half guard. Maka is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wasilcov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Haka Maka! Haka Maka bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
