Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Perci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Perci! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy King! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perci lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as King backs up against the cage.
It looks like Jeremy King has been cut. Jonny Perci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perci smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Perci as he avoids it easily. Perci dives in and scores a takedown into King's guard. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if King can do anything to dispel that myth. Perci throws a big elbow that misses. Perci throws a big elbow that misses. Perci scoring with punches to the head and body. Perci wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. Perci trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Perci throws a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. King avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Perci trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Perci loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. King has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Let's hope that King has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Perci throws a sloppy head kick and King counters with a nice double leg into side control. Perci won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King takes a little break here. Perci wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! It looks like King might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeremy King was stalling too much, according to the referee. King fails with a takedown attempt. Perci misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King has his takedown stuffed and Perci counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jonny Perci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy King. Perci has taken the fight to the clinch.
Perci is trying to stall.
Perci's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. King shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Perci defends it nicely. Perci lands a jab to the nose.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Perci circles away. Perci connects with a single shot there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perci clinches with his opponent.
Perci is trying to push King away but King has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. King fails to pull the fight into his guard.
King tries for a takedown but Perci manages to get underhooks.
King is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Perci gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. King looks gassed! King turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and King manages to end up in side control. King is looking to take a break and control but Perci is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Perci is trying to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonny Perci dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jeremy King's cut. That's time! Perci's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sloppy strikes from Perci. Those never looked like landing. Jonny Perci is winning the standup battle so far. King closes the distance and clinches up with Perci, looking for a takedown. King pushes Perci against the cage but Perci circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Perci checks the leg kick nicely there.

Perci tries to break free but King pushes him back against the cage. Perci is trying to force a seperation but King has the dominant position. King tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Perci tries to break the clinch but King is controlling the position. King goes for a takedown attempt but Perci pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Perci drives through with a takedown into King's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Perci working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Perci throws a strike but King rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Perci working a defensive guard here.
King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jeremy King has got the better of the ground game so far. Perci is trying to control the position but King postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perci wants to sweep but no luck. King is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Perci throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jonny Perci just wasn't active enough. Perci changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King defending against the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perci lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. King sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Perci lands a nice short elbow. Perci sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. King defending well though. Perci is sneakily working for an arm triangle but King sees it coming and defends easily. Perci wants to control but King is keeping him busy. Perci throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Perci thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as King holds on and takes a little breather. King avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. King controlling Perci's posture. Perci looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King stopping the sweep attempt from Perci. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perci is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Perci circles away and we're back to standing. Perci misses with a head kick.

King tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Perci just stands there and leans against the cage. Perci is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Perci tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the cage. King swings away with an uppercut that misses.
King tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Perci smiles and moves away.
Jonny Perci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy King. Perci has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perci wants to break free but King has control.
King stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. King has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Perci after a bit of a struggle. King pulls Perci into guard.
Perci stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perci accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Perci trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Perci's guard. Perci looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perci not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
King's corner is telling him to maintain position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jonny Perci. King shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perci swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by King. King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
King blocks a head kick by Perci.
King shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Perci counters with a nice uppercut. King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sloppy strikes from Perci. Those never looked like landing. King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perci sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat. Perci connects with a nice looking jab.
Jeremy King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jonny Perci is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Perci moves into range and clinches up with King. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A quick uppercut on the inside from King. Perci tries to stall but King uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perci can't break the clinch.
Perci looking to slow down the pace here. Jonny Perci is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. King scores with a shot to the side of Perci's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Jonny Perci showed his dominance in that final round. Well Perci has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
