Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Leissner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Ernst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leissner comes to the cage accompanied by GoToSleep. Ernst has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjVvhDwFnJk as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tim Ernst was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gabriel Leissner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Ernst! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leissner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ernst. Leissner misses the shot to the body. Leissner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ernst misses with a left hand and Leissner counters with a stiff right hand. Ernst doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Leissner is looking to slow Ernst down with leg kicks. Leissner bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Leissner. Ernst moves in looking to clinch but Leissner pushes him off. A punch lands to the side of Ernst 's head but he takes it in his stride. A left and a right from Ernst both land. Nice combination. Ernst shoots in but no luck this time. Ernst stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leissner scores with a nice strike. A jab from Ernst misses. Leissner moves into range and connects with a jab. Leissner throws a leg kick which misses Ernst's front leg but catches the back leg as Ernst tries to avoid it. Leissner looks for a takedown but Ernst sprawls well. Ernst misses with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leissner throws a wild body kick that Ernst sees coming a mile off. Danga de danga de dang - Ernst scores with a four punch combination! Ernst shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leissner pinned against the cage. Leissner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gabriel Leissner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Ernst. Leissner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ernst sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leissner somewhat. Leissner falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ernst counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leissner thows a left - swing and a miss! Leissner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ernst throws out the jab. Leissner with a lazy takedown attempt and Ernst counters with a takedown into side control. Leissner takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ernst working the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Leissner wants to control but Ernst postures up. Leissner is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ernst controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Ernst dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ernst thows a left - swing and a miss! Leissner walks into a jab. Leissner throws a jab when Ernst was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leissner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Leissner keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ernst's head. Ernst wants to sweep here but Leissner controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leissner trying to control but Ernst is working from the bottom. Ernst is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Leissner dives into side control.
Leissner misses with the ground and pound. Leissner tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Leissner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leissner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ernst is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Leissner off and has taken his back! Leissner wants to control his opponent's hands but Ernst gets his hands free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ernst is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ernst gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ernst gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ernst apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Leissner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ernst looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Leissner working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Ernst regains half guard. Tim Ernst has got the better of the ground game so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leissner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ernst doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leissner. Leissner is trying to work for a kimura but Ernst is defending well.
Leissner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ernst is looking for a sweep. Leissner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Leissner working Ernst over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ernst wants to control but Leissner is keeping busy and won't allow it. Leissner is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ernst is just riding it out for now. Leissner eventually gives up the hold. Ernst tries to roll over but Leissner keeps him under control. Leissner wants to work for an arm triangle but Ernst is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ernst trying to control but Leissner postures up.
Leissner is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ernst is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Leissner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Leissner's back! Leissner is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Ernst is landing with strikes from the back. Leissner grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Ernst has the hooks in. Leissner is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Leissner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ernst biding his time, looking for the opening.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ernst doesn't have the hooks in and Leissner manages to turn into his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Leissner is fighting to break Ernst's control of his arms but Ernst is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ernst avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ernst drops down looking for an ankle pick but Leissner pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leissner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ernst is fending him off so far but Leissner persists. Nope, Ernst circles away and we're back to standing. Leissner closes the distance and clinches up with Ernst, looking for a takedown. Leissner pushes Ernst against the cage but Ernst circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Leissner throws a head kick that misses. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Leissner moves out of range as Ernst strikes. Ernst blocks a head kick by Leissner.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ernst fails with a takedown attempt. Ernst throws a series of punches but Leissner avoids them all with ease. Ernst swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ernst bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leissner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ernst trying to control the position but Leissner is working away. Ernst is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Leissner's shoulder. That is not cool. Ernst trying to control the position but Leissner is working away. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Leissner wants to control but Ernst postures up. Leissner is looking for a sweep. Ernst tries to advance to mount but Leissner denies him. Leissner can't do much from the bottom here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ernst scores with a jab to the jaw. Leissner is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Leissner blocks a jab. Ernst shoots in for a double leg but Leissner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gabriel Leissner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Ernst. Ernst shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Leissner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Ernst comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ernst has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
