Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Pandeddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Carwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugo Pandeddy! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carwin shoots in for a double leg but Pandeddy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Carwin shoots in but no luck this time. Pandeddy misses with a double jab.
Pandeddy throws a left and a right that both miss
so Carwin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Carwin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Carwin trying to control the position from guard on top but Pandeddy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carwin prevents Pandeddy from getting back to his feet. Carwin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Carwin trying to control but Pandeddy is working from the bottom. Carwin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Carwin stands and throws Pandeddy's legs to the side, diving into side control. Carwin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pandeddy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The referee asks Carwin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Carwin prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pandeddy tries to escape but Carwin is in control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pandeddy can do anything to dispel that myth. Carwin in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Pandeddy is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
