Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rik Spahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Of Nazareth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spahn comes to the cage accompanied by Slap my elbow. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rik Spahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesus Of Nazareth! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Of Nazareth closes the distance looking to clinch and Spahn counters with a shoot takedown. Of Nazareth fights it but they end up in guard. Spahn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Spahn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Spahn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Spahn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Of Nazareth's guard. Spahn throwing shots but Of Nazareth is blocking nicely. Spahn working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Of Nazareth's thigh. Of Nazareth counters though and makes it back to full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Spahn stands and throws Of Nazareth's legs to the side, diving into side control. Spahn landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Of Nazareth is trying to control Spahn's posture but Spahn avoids it. Of Nazareth managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Spahn.
Spahn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Spahn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Spahn throws a strike aimed at the side of Of Nazareth's head but Of Nazareth avoids it well. Spahn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Of Nazareth, who protects the arm well. Spahn is putting a hurting on Of Nazareth here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Of Nazareth seems a little lost for a moment, as Spahn dominates the positioning. Spahn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Of Nazareth's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Of Nazareth sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spahn trying to mount his opponent but Of Nazareth defends it. Of Nazareth is looking to control Spahn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Of Nazareth avoid being mounted? Spahn seems to be working for a kimura but Of Nazareth defends the submission attempt. Spahn controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spahn is thwarting Of Nazareth's attempts to control the position. Spahn missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Spahn throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Of Nazareth to regain full guard. Of Nazareth looking to control.
Of Nazareth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spahn defends well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Of Nazareth keeping moving, preventing Spahn from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rik Spahn dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Of Nazareth lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Spahn circles away quickly and effectively. Spahn looks to score with a jab to the body but Of Nazareth is just out of range. Jesus Of Nazareth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spahn lands with a shot to the body. Of Nazareth wants to clinch but Spahn slips to the side and Spahn counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spahn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Of Nazareth doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Spahn. Spahn working over Of Nazareth with some ground and pound. Of Nazareth looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Spahn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Spahn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Well, if Spahn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Of Nazareth gets full guard. Spahn sitting in guard here, content to control. Of Nazareth controls Spahn momentarily but Spahn frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Of Nazareth keeping full guard, as Spahn tries to pass. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Spahn has gone for a leg lock! Of Nazareth slips out almost immediately though and dives into Spahn's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spahn pulls Of Nazareth in close to his closed guard and prevents Of Nazareth from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rik Spahn wasn't doing enough on the ground. Of Nazareth misses with a series of wild punches.
Spahn thuds a left hand into Of Nazareth's body. Spahn lands a slapping body shot.
Of Nazareth is breathing heavily. Of Nazareth throws a head kick but Spahn moves out of range.
Of Nazareth motions for Spahn to come forward. Of Nazareth throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spahn throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Spahn throws a body punch but Of Nazareth moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Spahn. Of Nazareth does a little dance to reset his feet. Spahn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Spahn misses with a body shot.
Of Nazareth throws a half hearted mid kick. Of Nazareth fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Spahn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Of Nazareth manages to avoid it. Of Nazareth buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Spahn misses the shot to the body. Of Nazareth misses with a double jab
and Spahn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Spahn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Of Nazareth is trying to hold Spahn in close to prevent damage but Spahn has managed to pass into half guard.
Spahn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Of Nazareth is just riding it out for now. Spahn eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rik Spahn dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Of Nazareth throws a head kick that misses. Of Nazareth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spahn swats him away and circles back towards the center. Of Nazareth doesn't manage to clinch there - Spahn circles away.
Spahn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Of Nazareth napping and manages to drive through into side control! Spahn connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Of Nazareth some visible discomfort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Spahn lands a nice forearm strike. Of Nazareth tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Of Nazareth is bucking up trying to escape but Spahn cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Spahn wants to control the pace but Of Nazareth is squirming around nicely. Spahn controlling from the full mount. Jesus Of Nazareth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
