Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goal Blitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Eoghan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blitz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is I Want To Conquer The World. Goal Blitz has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eoghan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Eoghan prevents Blitz from improving his position.
Eoghan wants to pass to mount but Blitz is defending the position.
Blitz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Eoghan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No joy there for Eoghan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blitz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eoghan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch combination from Blitz misses.
Nice combo by Blitz! Oh, that's hurt him - Eoghan falls to the canvas and Blitz follows him into side control.
Eoghan is rocked!
Blitz working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Eoghan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Blitz connects with a decent elbow.

Blitz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Eoghan to his feet.

Blitz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eoghan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Eoghan shoots in for a double leg but Blitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Blitz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blitz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Blitz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Blitz closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Eoghan! Blitz dives in looking to finish! Eoghan is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Goal Blitz!
