Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gibki Vlad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmund Queensberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Gibki Vlad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Queensberry! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Queensberry lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Queensberry lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vlad's sensitive parts. Vlad shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Vlad shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Queensberry but Queensberry pushes him off and we're back to square one. Edmund Queensberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Queensberry with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Queensberry pivots, looking for a leg kick but Vlad is out of range and Queensberry settles back down. Queensberry gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. This has been an exciting period of action! Vlad tries for a takedown. No joy.

Queensberry lands with a nice body kick. Queensberry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Vlad is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Queensberry cracks Vlad with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Queensberry has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vlad to stand back up!
It looks like Gibki Vlad has been cut. Vlad tries to keep at a distance but Queensberry has taken the fight into the clinch. Queensberry tries a knee to the head but Vlad blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice elbow from Queensberry. Queensberry has Vlad pushed against the cage. Queensberry gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Queensberry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vlad keeps working. Vlad controlling the position for now. Queensberry is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vlad has managed to free his arm - good work. Vlad taking some punishment here, with Queensberry in his half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Queensberry connects with a nice short shot to Vlad's temple. Vlad is trying to get back to full guard. Queensberry is pressing down on Vlad's thigh, looking to free his foot. Vlad is holding on for now. Queensberry is trying to control. Vlad wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Edmund Queensberry hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A chopping leg kick lands by Queensberry. Vlad tries to move into range but Queensberry moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A punch combination from Queensberry misses. Vlad shoots and misses and Queensberry cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Vlad checks a leg kick nicely. Queensberry motions for Vlad to come forward. Queensberry throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Queensberry lands with an overhand left. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Queensberry misses with a series of wild punches.
Vlad on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Queensberry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vlad. That did some damage! Queensberry slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Queensberry throws a looping overhand right but Vlad ducks down to avoid it. Queensberry jabs Vlad right on the nose. Vlad blinks but takes it well. Vlad moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Vlad on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Queensberry lands a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edmund Queensberry dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gibki Vlad's cut. That's time! Vlad's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Queensberry buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Queensberry looks for the body kick but Vlad saw that one coming. Queensberry slaps away a takedown attempt from Vlad, before circling back to the center of the mat. Good standup being displayed there by Queensberry as he connects with a hook. A solid leg kick lands there for Queensberry.
Queensberry scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Edmund Queensberry seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Queensberry pushes Vlad up against the cage in a clinch. Queensberry effectively controlling the action here. Queensberry comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Vlad drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Queensberry gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Queensberry lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Vlad is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Queensberry pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gibki Vlad. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vlad tries to score a body lock takedown but Queensberry shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Queensberry utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Queensberry avoiding damage.
Queensberry has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Vlad takes a knee to the side of the body. Queensberry manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Queensberry has picked Vlad up - he's going for a ride! Queensberry dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Queensberry is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Queensberry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Vlad wants to sweep but Queensberry has passed to side control! The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Queensberry. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Queensberry is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Queensberry trying to control the position but Vlad is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vlad is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Queensberry's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Queensberry not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Queensberry is figuring out what he wants to do next. Queensberry is thwarting Vlad's attempts to control the position. Vlad actively working from the bottom here. Vlad is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Queensberry scores with a couple of nice shots. Vlad wants to get back to full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Vlad is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Queensberry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Queensberry with good strikes from the mount here! Vlad working to try and regain half guard.

Horrible takedown by Vlad or perhaps it was just good defense by Queensberry which made him look bad. Queensberry displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vlad. Some wild striking there from Queensberry.

Queensberry throws a right and a left that Vlad avoids nicely. Vlad misses with a takedown attempt - Queensberry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vlad is rocked! This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Vlad. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Edmund Queensberry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Queensberry lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Vlad is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Queensberry stops a takedown attempt from Vlad.
Vlad drops down looking for an ankle pick but Queensberry pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Queensberry throws a nice looking combination but Vlad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Queensberry with a jab. Queensberry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vlad moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vlad is trying hard to land a takedown here. Queensberry sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Vlad is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Queensberry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vlad circles away quickly and effectively. Queensberry gets a double leg takedown into Vlad's guard. Queensberry sitting in guard, not really doing much. Vlad bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Queensberry's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vlad controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Vlad pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Queensberry is keeping the position for now. Vlad is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Queensberry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Queensberry is adopting a defensive guard. Gibki Vlad has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vlad wants to control from the top but Queensberry keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gibki Vlad. Queensberry jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight! Edmund Queensberry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Queensberry has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
