Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paladin Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayiqra Tzaraath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paladin Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayiqra Tzaraath! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel shoots in looking for a takedown. Tzaraath tries to sprawl out of it but Steel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tzaraath manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice defenses there by Steel. Tzaraath is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Steel moves to clinch but Tzaraath breaks away and Tzaraath cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Steel misses with a head kick.
Steel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tzaraath counters with a right hand to the body. Steel slips a straight right by Tzaraath. A big right from Tzaraath misses. The fighters circling - Tzaraath throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Steel tries to clinch up but Tzaraath circles away and keeps his distance. Steel ducks right into an uppercut from Tzaraath. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tzaraath connects with a good right hand that stumbles Steel. Steel circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Tzaraath keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tzaraath pinned against the cage. Tzaraath gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paladin Steel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tzaraath connects with the punch. Tzaraath throws a shot from downtown. Steel moves away and avoids it. Tzaraath scores with the left hand. Steel knows he should have avoided that one.
Steel is rocked! Tzaraath throws a lazy uppercut
and Steel counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Oh Steel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tzaraath throws a lazy uppercut
and Steel finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tzaraath throws a poor cross that misses
and Steel counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tzaraath's knee momentarily. Steel seems to have got his legs back now. Tzaraath leaves Steel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tzaraath might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Steel misses with a looping right. Steel ducks under a wild hook from Tzaraath. Tzaraath throws an overhand right that lands on Steel's shoulder, as Steel tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tzaraath throws a body punch but Steel moves out of range. Tzaraath scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Wayiqra Tzaraath is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tzaraath is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steel. Tzaraath looks to land a left hand but Steel moved out of range nicely. Steel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tzaraath. Tzaraath jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tzaraath defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Steel. Steel wants to clinch up but Tzaraath keeps it at a distance. Tzaraath is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Steel is looking to clinch but Tzaraath is avoiding it.

Tzaraath connects with a good right hand that stumbles Steel. Steel circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Steel wants to clinch but Tzaraath slips to the side and Tzaraath counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A good leg kick by Steel. Steel fails with a takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from Tzaraath. Tzaraath connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tzaraath misses with a right hand and Steel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Steel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tzaraath fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Steel gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Tzaraath gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Steel is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wayiqra Tzaraath!
