Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kermit Cintron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cintron comes into the arena with Killer Instinct blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Wrestler! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cintron.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wrestler. Wrestler closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cintron to the mat! Cintron manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrestler pushes down on Cintron's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wrestler prevents Cintron from standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cintron looking for submissions off his back. Cintron looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Cintron looking for submissions off his back. Wrestler wants to free his trapped foot but Cintron is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cintron looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wrestler stops Cintron from getting back to his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alexander Wrestler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A swing and a miss from Wrestler.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrestler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cintron manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Cintron working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wrestler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wrestler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cintron working for a triangle but Wrestler defends it easily.
Cintron can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wrestler controls the pace. Cintron escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wrestler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wrestler content to stall in guard here. Cintron wants to stand and escape but Wrestler is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Wrestler dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cintron is trying to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wrestler stands up. Wrestler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cintron circles away. Wrestler has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cintron misses with a knee to the head. Cintron with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Cintron throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wrestler blocks it with crossed arms. Wrestler jumps into guard, dragging Cintron to the mat.
Wrestler has his feet on Cintron's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wrestler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cintron's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrestler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cintron is looking for a triangle here but Wrestler uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cintron tries to buck Wrestler off but Wrestler is having none of it. Cintron is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wrestler asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wrestler stands up and beckons Cintron to his feet. Wrestler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cintron tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wrestler is in Cintron's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Wrestler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Wrestler decides to take the fight back to the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Wrestler throws the left hand but Cintron avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrestler is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cintron's half guard. Wrestler moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Cintron. Wrestler happy to just control the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cintron is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wrestler connects with a decent elbow. Kermit Cintron has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wrestler is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cintron's shoulder. That is not cool. Cintron is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cintron is trying to escape the position but Wrestler is controlling the position. Cintron tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Alexander Wrestler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Wrestler scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wrestler uses his free foot to push down on Cintron's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cintron. Alexander Wrestler is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Alexander Wrestler has got the better of the ground game so far. Wrestler looking to control and managing it successfully. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cintron trying desperately to get to his feet.
