PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kutchek Gore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vrach Daltonik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gore comes to the cage accompanied by The Berzerker - No One Wins. Vrach Daltonik told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vrach Daltonik!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daltonik avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice jab there from Daltonik.
Gore slips a jab and a cross from Daltonik.
Gore ducks under a wild hook from Daltonik.
Daltonik misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gore throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gore scores with the left hand. Daltonik knows he should have avoided that one.
Gore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daltonik is fending him off so far but Gore persists. Nope, Daltonik circles away and we're back to standing.
Gore with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Daltonik to score with a decent uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gore throws an off balance right hand
letting Daltonik counter with a right hand.
Vrach Daltonik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daltonik ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Daltonik lands a left and a right that send Gore crashing to the mat, dazed. Daltonik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
A big left from Daltonik misses.
Daltonik lands the left hand.
Gore fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gore misses with the combination.
Gore rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Daltonik cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Daltonik connects with a jab.
Daltonik cracks Gore with a right hand to the side of the head.

Gore is rocked!
Daltonik throws a right and a left that Gore avoids nicely.
Gore fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Oh Gore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daltonik jabs Gore right on the nose. Gore blinks but takes it well.
Gore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gore seems to have got his legs back now.
Gore shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Daltonik cracks Gore with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Daltonik has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gore to stand back up!
Daltonik fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gore is breathing heavily.

Daltonik drops Gore with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gore looks back up at him and smiles so Daltonik waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Daltonik might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Daltonik cracks Gore with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gore tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Daltonik pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gore is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
