The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saarinen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Saarinen seems to be working for a kimura but Alexander defends the submission attempt.
Saarinen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Saarinen closes the distance and clinches up with Alexander, looking for a takedown. Saarinen pushes Alexander against the cage but Alexander circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Alexander's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Saarinen quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Saarinen but it's paid off an Alexander is forced to tap! Nice work by Saarinen.
