Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Serbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serbo has chosen white eyes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Don Serbo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Don Serbo! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serbo tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Serbo wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance. Serbo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Diaz fails with the takedown. Diaz keeps the fight on the outside. Serbo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Serbo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diaz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diaz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Serbo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Serbo tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Diaz walks into a straight right hand from Serbo. Serbo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diaz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Serbo fails in his attempt to clinch. Diaz clinches up against the ropes. Serbo throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Serbo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Serbo scores with a knee to the head.
Serbo lands a damaging elbow. Serbo is pressed up against the ropes. Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Serbo down to the mat. Serbo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Serbo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz trying to stall but Serbo improves his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Serbo regains guard immediately. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Diaz is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Serbo wants to get back to his feet but Diaz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Diaz wants to control from the top but Serbo keeps moving. Diaz gets to his feet. Serbo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Diaz misses with a wild combination.
Diaz is breathing heavily. The fight stays on the outside here - Serbo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Excellent takedown into side control there by Diaz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Serbo is trying to get back to his feet. Diaz creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Diaz goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Serbo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Diaz's guard! Nice work there by Serbo! Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Diaz wants to sweep here but Serbo controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Serbo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Diaz is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Diaz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Serbo tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range. Serbo tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Diaz shoots in and drives through. Serbo sprawls well. Diaz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Serbo tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range. A punch lands to the side of Diaz 's head but he takes it in his stride. Serbo moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off. Serbo wants to clinch up but Diaz keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Serbo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Diaz gets tackled into the ropes by Serbo. Serbo maintains the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz avoids the elbow strike from Serbo, against the ropes.
Serbo lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Diaz wants the takedown. Serbo is fighting it off but Diaz persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Serbo's guard against the ropes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Don Serbo will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Serbo lands with a slapping head kick. Serbo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nick Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Serbo wants to clinch. Diaz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diaz lands in his opponent's guard. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Serbo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Diaz swats away the attempt to clinch by Serbo. Serbo drives through and clinches with Diaz against the ropes.
Serbo is breathing heavily. Diaz takes a knee right on the jaw!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A battle for position here, against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Serbo prevents Diaz from breaking the clinch. Diaz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Serbo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Serbo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Serbo lands an elbow inside that Diaz shrugs off. Serbo lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Diaz takes an elbow to the forehead. Diaz wants a takedown but no success here.
Diaz is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Serbo can't fight it off and eventually Diaz manages to take the fight to the floor. Serbo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Diaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Serbo is retaining full guard. Serbo is looking to stand up but Diaz isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz chips away with some ground and pound. Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Serbo has wrist control. Serbo pushes Diaz off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz keeps the fight on the outside. Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Serbo is trying to get back to his feet. Serbo bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diaz is defended easily by Serbo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Diaz has picked Serbo up - he's going for a ride! Diaz dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Serbo is trying to stand up here but Diaz is controlling him well. Diaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Serbo is trying to stand up here but Diaz is controlling him well. Diaz is looking to advance position but Serbo won't allow it. Serbo wants to get back to his feet. Diaz is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Serbo has managed to free his arm - good work. Diaz trying to control from Serbo's half guard. Serbo has other ideas though and has regained full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Diaz will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Serbo tries to clinch but Diaz moves out of range. Diaz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Diaz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Diaz looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Serbo trying desperately to get to his feet.
Diaz tries to control but Serbo wriggling away. Diaz quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Diaz but it's paid off an Serbo is forced to tap! Nice work by Diaz.
