Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldi Rolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronaldi Rolf! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm fails to land with a series of punches.
Storm lands a slapping body shot.
Storm avoids the head kick by Rolf.
Rolf fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Storm, pushing him back against the cage. Storm tries to work over Rolf's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Storm. Storm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Storm paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Rolf misses the shot to the body. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rolf. Storm shrugs it off though. Rolf wants to clinch and Storm counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rolf's knee momentarily. The fighters circle momentarily. Storm darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Storm swings for the body but Rolf moves out of range.
Storm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rolf circles away quickly and effectively. Storm throws the left hand but Rolf avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Storm misses. Storm looks to score with a jab to the body but Rolf is just out of range. Rolf throws a head kick that misses and Storm counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rolf darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rolf in particular looking to stall. Storm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rolf on the ground. Let's hope that Rolf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Storm is trying to stand back up but Rolf is controlling him
Rolf seems to be working for a kimura but Storm defends the submission attempt. Storm trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm wants to get back to his feet. Rolf working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rolf is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Storm is looking to improve his position.
Rolf wants to work for an arm triangle but Storm is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Storm is trying to stand.
Rolf is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Storm! Storm slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Storm keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Rolf is working for a submission of some sort.
Rolf wants to free his trapped foot but Storm is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolf is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Storm wants to get back to his feet.
Rolf throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rolf prevents Storm from improving his position. Rolf is thwarting Storm's attempts to control the position. Storm is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rolf manages to work his way to half guard, despite Storm's best efforts. Storm content to control rather than advance. Rolf has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rolf gets full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rolf is trying to control the position from the bottom.

A close round but Ronaldi Rolf will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rolf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Rolf trying to control the action but Storm is working from the bottom. Well, if Rolf is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rolf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Storm keeps working. Rolf missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rolf works his way into side control. Storm is trying to control Rolf's posture but Rolf avoids it. A control attempt from Storm but he's now mounted! Storm is desperately trying to improve his position but Rolf has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rolf has control of Storm's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Storm regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rolf lands a big elbow. Storm holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Rolf tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm wants to try and get back to his feet. Rolf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Storm is looking to escape. Rolf pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rolf trying to control but he's not successful this time. Storm tries to reverse the position but Rolf maintains control. Rolf takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rolf looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Rolf wants to finish this one by submission but Storm is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rolf. Rolf tries to control but Storm wriggling away. Storm is working to get back to half guard.

Rolf has hold of Storm's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Storm manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Storm reaches up and holds on to Rolf to control the position. Storm is squirming around, avoiding Rolf's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rolf cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rolf avoids the attempt from Storm to control. Storm is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rolf moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Storm has worked his arm free - good work by Storm!

Rolf is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Storm knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronaldi Rolf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Ronaldi Rolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Storm misses. A jab from Storm does it's job there. Both fighters circling a little - Rolf finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Storm connects with an inside leg kick. Rolf tries to close the distance and clinch but Storm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rolf works Storm's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storm throws a series of punches but Rolf moves out of range. Rolf lands with a nice body punch. Rolf throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Storm counters with a nice body kick. Storm looks to throw the jab but Rolf is out of range. Johnny Storm is winning the standup battle so far. Rolf cracks the inside of Storm's front leg. Storm misses with a body shot.
Storm has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Storm digs a good hook to Rolf's body.
Rolf tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Storm was well out of range. Poor timing from Rolf. Rolf fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Storm avoids it really well and circles away. Rolf takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rolf forces Storm back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rolf tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Storm avoids it. Storm throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rolfs head. Rolf throws a knee to the head but misses.
Storm working aggressively here.
Ronaldi Rolf is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Storm goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rolf tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Storm avoids it. Storm wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rolf has him pressed against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Storm creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Storm manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolf steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Storm. Rolf displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Storm throws out the jab. A combination from Storm does no damage. Ronaldi Rolf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Storm looks to throw the jab but Rolf is out of range. Rolf instigates a clinch. A short left from Storm. Storm has a couple of punches blocked by Rolf.
Storm stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Storm swings wildly with an uppercut but Rolf uses good head movement to avoid it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rolf prevents a body shot from Storm.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Storm showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rolf has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
