Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Naoto Togawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jett Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Padilla has chosen In da club - 50 cent as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoto Togawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jett Padilla! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Padilla lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Naoto Togawa has been cut. Padilla looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Togawa lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Jett Padilla has been cut. Padilla tries to bum rush Togawa with a series of wild strikes but Togawa uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Togawa scores with a takedown into Padilla's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Togawa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Togawa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Naoto Togawa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Padilla fails in his attempt to clinch. Togawa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Good leg kick by Togawa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Togawa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Togawa in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Togawa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Padilla napping and manages to drive through into side control! Togawa tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Togawa happy to just control the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Naoto Togawa just wasn't active enough. Togawa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Togawa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Togawa engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Togawa passes Padilla's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Padilla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Padilla is defending well but Togawa drives through and ends up in Padilla's guard. Padilla utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Togawa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
