Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroyuki Okamoto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Okamoto looks to throw the jab but Parker is out of range.
Parker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
No luck for Okamoto with that takedown attempt.
Okamoto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Okamoto moves into the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Okamoto.
Parker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Parker blocks an elbow strike from Okamoto.
Okamoto leaning his opponent against the cage.

Okamoto lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Parker breaks the clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Parker checks a leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Parker. No joy for Okamoto on that attempt.

Okamoto gets the takedown into side control.
Okamoto working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Okamoto is looking to take a break and control but Parker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Okamoto throwing strikes but Parker manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Okamoto struggling a bit here.
Okamoto is trying to get back to half guard.
Okamoto looks to move to half guard but instead Parker has passed into mount! Damn!

Parker controlling the position easily from mount.
Parker thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Okamoto really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Parker throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Okamoto holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Parker tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Okamoto is trying to escape the mount.
Okamoto tries to lock up and control but Parker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Parker stands up from mount. Strange move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hiroyuki Okamoto dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Parker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Parker checks a low kick from Okamoto.
Parker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Okamoto. Okamoto circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Okamoto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Okamoto is looking to clinch.
Okamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Parker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Okamoto takes one to the side of the head.

Okamoto clinches up with Parker and pushes him back against the cage.
Okamoto pushes off an throws an elbow but Parker leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Okamoto has Parker pressed against the cage, preventing Parker from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Okamoto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Parker's efforts to push away.

A head punch on the inside from Okamoto fails to land.
Okamoto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Parker after a bit of a struggle.

Okamoto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Parker lands with an uppercut that bounces Okamoto off the cage and back into range.
Peter Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Parker lands a nice hook to Okamoto's body. Okamoto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Okamoto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Parker finds it's way round the side to connect with Okamoto's head.
Okamoto has a takedown stuffed.
Danga de danga de dang - Parker scores with a four punch combination!
Okamoto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Okamoto. Parker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Okamoto throws a sloppy head kick
and Parker counters with a straight right hand.
Okamoto tries a low kick but Parker avoids it.
Parker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Okamoto wants to clinch.
Parker lands a nice shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A big left from Okamoto misses.
Parker digs a good hook to Okamoto's body.
Okamoto thows a leg kick but Parker checks it
and Parker counters with a left to the body.
Okamoto tries to clinch there but Parker circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Okamoto 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Parker clobbers Okamoto with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Okamoto throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Parker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Parker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Okamoto throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Okamoto fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Parker is out of range.
A jab lands there for Parker.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Peter Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiroyuki Okamoto.
Parker sizes up Okamoto with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Okamoto throws a leg kick that is checked
and Parker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Parker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd cheers as Parker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Okamoto doesn't seem phased though.

Parker scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Okamoto throws a leg kick
and Parker counters with a nice body shot.
A head kick by Okamoto misses
and Parker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Parker lands the left hand.
Hiroyuki Okamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Parker checks a low kick from Okamoto.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parker tests Okamoto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Parker lands the left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Parker dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Okamoto throws a sloppy head kick
and Parker counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Okamoto takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Okamoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Okamoto somewhat.
Peter Parker is winning the standup battle so far.
Parker scores with the left hand. Okamoto knows he should have avoided that one.
Okamoto tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Okamoto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side.
Peter Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiroyuki Okamoto.
Parker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Okamoto.
Okamoto throws a sloppy head kick
letting Parker counter with a right hand.

Okamoto closes the distance and clinches.
Okamoto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Parker tries to break free but Okamoto pushes him back against the cage.

Parker dodges an elbow strike from Okamoto.
Okamoto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Parker pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Parker tries to work over Okamoto's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Parker is trying to break the clinch but Okamoto is controlling him.

Okamoto turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Okamoto taking a break here but Parker is having none of it and regains half guard.

Parker is looking to control Okamoto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Parker avoid being mounted?
Parker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Parker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Okamoto trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Parker prevents Okamoto from improving his position.
Parker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Parker moves into full mount! Okamoto won't be happy about that!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Okamoto tries to hold on but Parker postures up.
Okamoto really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parker looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Parker throwing strikes here but Okamoto is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Parker.
I think Parker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
