Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lil Scrapy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Truman Roosevelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scrapy's entrance music is Scrapy Do. A fine choice. Roosevelt has chosen Gravel Pit by Wu Tang Clan as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lil Scrapy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Truman Roosevelt! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scrapy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roosevelt. Roosevelt throws the kick towards the body but Scrapy avoids it. Roosevelt takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Roosevelt throws a head kick that misses. Nice body kick from Roosevelt. No luck for Scrapy with that takedown attempt. Scrapy shoots for a double leg takedown but Roosevelt sprawls well. He's pushed Scrapy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Roosevelt closes the distance and clinches. Scrapy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lil Scrapy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roosevelt lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Lil Scrapy has been cut. Roosevelt comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Scrapy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Roosevelt pulls his leg out and moves away.
Roosevelt throws a body kick that misses. Roosevelt pushes Scrapy up against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roosevelt lands an elbow inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scrapy blocks an elbow strike. Scrapy is trying to pull guard but Roosevelt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A knee to the head by Roosevelt.
Lil Scrapy's cut is getting worse. With the fighters up against the cage, Roosevelt throws an elbow but misses. Roosevelt comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Roosevelt lands an elbow inside that Scrapy shrugs off.
Lil Scrapy's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Scrapy tries to pull guard but Roosevelt forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Roosevelt lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Scrapy is trying to drag Roosevelt to the mat but Roosevelt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Roosevelt comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Scrapy is rocked!
Jeez, Lil Scrapy's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lil Scrapy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Truman Roosevelt! Truman Roosevelt is the new lightweight champion! Truman Roosevelt bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
