Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Tolsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Angry Johnny. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Tolsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonathan Jones!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Jones.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Tolsen sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Tolsen on that attempt.
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tolsen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Tolsen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jones.
Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones looking to control but Tolsen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jones looking for a guillotine from mount but Tolsen is having none of it.

Jones looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jones trying to control but Tolsen is having none of it.
Jones misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones looking to control but Tolsen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jones has hold of Tolsen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tolsen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tolsen is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.

Tolsen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Tolsen wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones looking to finish with strikes here!
Jones wants to control the pace but Tolsen is squirming around nicely.
Jones landing shots from mount.
Tolsen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones is landing with some decent strikes but Tolsen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Jones controlling from mount.
Tolsen is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jones raining down shots from the mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee warns Tolsen that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Tolsen is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones.
Jones trying to control but Tolsen is having none of it.

Jones raining down shots from the mount!
Tolsen working to try and regain half guard.
Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Tolsen in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Jones looking to finish Tolsen with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tolsen!
Tolsen is rocked!
Jones unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Tolsen wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Jones celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
