Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Stalin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saku Vippera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vippera shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vippera showed some decent athleticism there.
Stalin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Stalin is looking for a sweep. Vippera is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vippera tries to stand but can't do so whilst Stalin controls his leg.
Vippera wants to control but Stalin is keeping him busy.
Vippera is taking a breather. Stalin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Stalin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stalin tries to get out of the position.
Stalin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stalin is trying to maintain the position but Vippera is very close to passing his half guard.

Vippera is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Vippera is nestled in close to Stalin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

and Vippera counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Vippera postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Stalin to stand up.
Vippera bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Vippera has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Stalin misses with a takedown
and Vippera counters with a left and a right that stings Stalin.
Vippera throws a head kick that misses.
Vippera uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stalin.

Stalin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vippera wants to stand but Stalin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stalin tries to reverse the position but Vippera maintains control.

Stalin is squirming around, avoiding Vippera's attempts to control the action.

Stalin tries to control Vippera's body but Vippera pushes him off. Stalin squirms to his side and now Vippera has his back!
Will Vippera go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Vippera lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vippera is punishing Stalin with strikes - can he finish him?!
Vippera lands a shot to the body.
Vippera is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Stalin has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Vippera is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Stalin with him. Stalin is trying to defend but Vippera has an arm under the chin now! Stalin grimaces and is forced to tap out!
