Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Four Middle Fingers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Spoilin For A Fight . Fingers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cut Stoppage- This one will get finished. The key to victory for Frank Mir has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Four Middle Fingers! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Fingers misses. Four Middle Fingers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mir moves out of range as Fingers throws a body kick.
Mir jabs Fingers right on the nose. Fingers blinks but takes it well. Mir circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fingers throws a lazy right hand but Mir sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mir swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Fingers to counter with a crisp jab. Fingers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mir. Fingers throws a big shot that misses. Mir falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fingers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fingers throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mir swinging wildly here.
Fingers misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fingers stuffs the takedown attempt from Mir. Mir gets slowly back to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mir. Mir closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fingers did well to prevent Mir getting side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Mir takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mir seems to be looking for submissions.
Mir is looking to advance position but Fingers won't allow it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fingers can do anything to dispel that myth. Mir is trying to control. Fingers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fingers blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mir. Mir will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mir wants to pass to mount but Fingers is defending the position. Mir is working hard here to advance position. Mir lands strikes from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mir seems to be looking for submissions.
Mir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mir stops Fingers from getting back to his feet.
Fingers controlling the position well. Mir uses his free foot to push down on Fingers's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fingers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Mir connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fingers holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mir tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mir throws a strike there. Fingers manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

Mir throwing shots but Fingers is blocking nicely. Mir missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fingers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mir is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir is trying to control. Fingers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mir lands a nice short elbow. Fingers tries to get to full guard but Mir has control of the leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mir not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fingers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Mir thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fingers's head. Fingers is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Fingers is looking to improve his position.
Fingers is refusing to be controlled, as Mir sits in half guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Mir trying to control the pace. Mir sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fingers defending well though. Fingers is looking to improve his position.
Mir frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Mir punishing his opponent with strikes. Fingers is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Mir looking to finish Fingers with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fingers! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mir looking to secure an arm triangle but Fingers defends it well. Mir raining down hammerfists from mount. Mir controlling the pace for now. Mir landing strikes, looking to finish! Fingers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mir controlling his opponent. Mir tries to control but Fingers wriggling away. Mir scoring with strikes but Fingers is staying in there.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Mir trying to control but Fingers is having none of it. Mir raining down hammerfists from mount.
Fingers is rocked! Mir postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fingers in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fingers to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Mir! Frank Mir spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
