Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddy Wally! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mon Ting! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ting scores with a spinning back kick! Ting lands a head kick. Wally smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Wally shoots in and drives through. Ting sprawls well. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ting, right into the meat.
Wally looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wally stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ting swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wally avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ting is trying to control the position but Wally postures up. Ting preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wally stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ting swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ting is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. That's one minute gone in the round. Wally postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wally gets to his feet - Ting follows without any prompting. Wally fails to land the takedown. Wally shoots in for a double leg but Ting sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddy Wally. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ting tries a head kick but it misses.

Ting displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wally. Mon Ting seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wally drives through with a takedown into Ting's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ting keeping moving, preventing Wally from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ting working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wally doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wally manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wally stands and throws Ting's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ting tries to bench press Wally off him but Wally keeps the position. Ting regains half guard. Wally wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Ting uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Ting had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wally defends it easily. Wally gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ting throws a sloppy head kick and Wally moves out of range easily. Ting pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ting looks gassed! Wally throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ting. Ting throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wally tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ting sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wally somewhat. Wally shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ting as he avoids it easily. Ting delivers a nice body kick. Ting stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ting wants it to stay on the feet. Wally tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Wally throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ting's waist but Ting gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wally off to one side. A slapping body kick lands there for Ting. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ting throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wally.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circle, before Ting throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Wally's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ting lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
