The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza shoots in and bounces McMillan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
McMillan wants to stand but Souza is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McMillan trying to control the position.
McMillan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Souza is one step ahead there.
Souza tries to free his leg and advance position but McMillan is retaining full guard.
Souza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Souza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Souza passes into half guard.
Souza is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Souza is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Souza is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McMillan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Souza.

Souza wants to work for an arm triangle but McMillan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Souza is thwarting McMillan's attempts to control the position.
Souza is looking for a kimura but McMillan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Souza to get the leverage.
Souza is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McMillan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Souza.
