The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Janne Jakoavain will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Saukko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Saukko throws a one two combo.
Saukko shoots for a takedown but Jakoavain saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Saukko. That's going to slow Jakoavain down.
Jakoavain looks to land a body kick but Saukko moved away.
Jakoavain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saukko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Saukko throws a front kick aimed at Jakoavain's knee but Jakoavain avoids it well.

Jakoavain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A solid leg kick lands there for Saukko.
Jakoavain tries to score with a low kick but Saukko moves his leg out of the way.
Per Saukko seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Saukko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jakoavain is fending him off so far but Saukko persists. Nope, Jakoavain circles away and we're back to standing.
Saukko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice defenses there by Saukko.
Saukko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jakoavain was covering up waiting for the punch and Saukko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Saukko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Per Saukko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jakoavain on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Saukko. Saukko obviously looking to wear him down.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Saukko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jakoavain has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jakoavain and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Saukko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jakoavain's knee momentarily.

Saukko shoots in looking for a takedown. Jakoavain tries to sprawl out of it but Saukko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jakoavain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Saukko works his foot free and advances to mount.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Janne Jakoavain.
I think Jakoavain has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
