Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luffy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Majja throws a hook but Luffy avoids it easily.

Majja lands a lovely overhand right.
Majja scores with a jab to the head.
Luffy throws a body kick that misses.
Guru Majja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Majja punishes Luffy's body with a nice straight punch.
Luffy takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Majja sizes up Luffy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Oh Luffy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Majja fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Luffy is breathing heavily.
An inside leg kick lands from Majja.
Majja dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Luffy. That did some damage!
Luffy seems to have got his legs back now.

Majja tries a head kick but it misses.
Luffy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Donk. Majja catches Luffy right on the button with a cross.
Majja lands a slapping body shot.
Guru Majja is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Majja circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Luffy to the canvas! Luffy doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Majja keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Guru Majja!
Our winner, Guru Majja, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
