Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahti Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sonni's choice of entrance music: Aki & Turo - Mahtisonni - . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Monroe.
Sonni looks to score with a jab to the body but Monroe is just out of range.
Monroe throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sonni.
Sonni misses with a shot to the body
and Monroe counters with a slapping leg kick.
Monroe throws a front kick aimed at Sonni's knee but Sonni avoids it well.

Monroe lands a leg kick that knocks Sonni off balance momentarily.

A punch lands to the side of Sonni 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Sonni jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Monroe is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Monroe and Sonni has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
