The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizinskii catches DArcangeli napping and connects with a big right hand that sends DArcangeli to the canvas!
DArcangeli is rocked!
It looks like Derek DArcangeli has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mizinskii trying to control but DArcangeli is working from the bottom.
Oh DArcangeli is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mizinskii prevents DArcangeli from getting back to his feet.
DArcangeli seems to have got his legs back now.
Mizinskii lands a couple of elbows.
Mizinskii wants to control from the top but DArcangeli keeps moving.
Mizinskii has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mizinskii forces his way into half guard.
DArcangeli is staying active underneath Mizinskii, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mizinskii passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for DArcangeli!
DArcangeli tries to hold on but Mizinskii postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mizinskii lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
DArcangeli knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mizinskii on the ground.
DArcangeli holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mizinskii tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mizinskii lands with some strikes.
Mizinskii looking to control but DArcangeli is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mizinskii punching from mount but DArcangeli doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Mizinskii breaks from DArcangeli's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mizinskii thowing shots but they're missing.

Mizinskii raining down shots from the mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mizinskii postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have DArcangeli in real trouble here! The ref calls for DArcangeli to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Mizinskii!
A relieved looking Fred Mizinskii thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
